Blue Flowers Merino Blanket

Small flowers scattered over a beige ground. Clear up close; from a distance they settle into a calm texture that suits the pram and any room.

A child learns the world through the skin before learning it with the eyes. That is why what you cover them with matters. This blanket is entirely merino wool, with nothing mixed in. Soft, itch-free, gentle even on very delicate skin.

It is a blanket for the whole year. In winter it is warm underneath; in summer you can spread it on the grass and nothing overheats. Merino breathes and draws moisture away, so it adjusts to the weather by itself.

The wool we knit it from carries the international Woolmark label. It confirms that this is pure new wool: shorn from living animals, never recycled, and of tested quality. The yarn comes from an Italian wool mill working since 1817, and the blanket is made in Poland.

It measures 100x120 cm, more than most children's blankets, so it serves long after the first year. First in the pram, then on the floor for play, and finally on the sofa for evening reading.

The kind that stays in the house long after other things have worn out.

100% merino wool. We bring the yarn from Italy, from a wool mill working since 1817. We knit the blankets in Łódź. The pattern is made in the weave, not printed on, so it stays on the blanket for as long as the blanket itself. Each one is reversible, with the colours swapped on the underside.

Air it instead of washing - merino cleans itself. If it really needs washing, by hand only, in lukewarm water, with a wool detergent. No bleach and no fabric softener. Do not wring; dry flat, away from radiators, never in a tumble dryer. Iron on a low setting, if at all.
