Wool that breathes

Merino has a much finer fibre than ordinary wool, which is why it does not itch. The thick fibres of traditional wool do not bend when they touch the skin, and they are what scratches; merino bends and springs back.

Wool works both ways: it keeps you warm on a frosty evening, and in an overheated room it draws moisture away and never feels stuffy. The same cover for a winter pram and for summer grass - which matters for a small child, whose body is only learning to hold its temperature.

We bring the yarn from Italy, from a wool mill that has worked without a break since 1817, and we knit the blankets in Łódź.
